today, i went to the Pacific Design Center (PDC) in West Hollywood to invite designers to our gallery’s closing this weekend. the PDC is a massive complex of several levels that is made up of showrooms of some of the finest designers of the modern age.

you should see the inside. showrooms beyond showrooms of innovative design, lighting, fabric, outdoor furniture…murano glass poured into a side table with no air bubbles. none. not one.
i had no idea that anyone can just walk in and look around. this place is seriously incredible. anything you want in any color.
one of the galleries had canvases that change their image based on the color light you shine on them.
the idea is that you can change your mood by changing your space…a common enough idea…but, with this invention, you can do it instantly.
hence, the beginning of the “smart house” or at least the “smart artwork”
